Hammerhead As Rebel Pilot

Here is my version of Hammerhead, an Ithorian, as a X-Wing rebel pilot.

As always, I only use vintage figures that are beyond repair or restoration, breathing new life into something that would otherwise be thrown away.

Biggs As TIE Fighter Pilot

Biggs Darklighter was a friend of Luke, who trained at the Academy. Biggs served as a TIE Fighter Pilot before joining the rebellion, as we see in the original movie.

Soontir Fel, Almost Finished…

Soontir Fel, a character in the expanded universe, was considered among “the best starfighter pilots in the galaxy”. This figure is nearly finished, just missing the red “blood-stripe” down the sleeves, signature of the 181st Imperial Fighter Wing.

This character was pulled together from a wide range of vintage figures.

These particular vintage figures were good candidates for customization, being in generally poor condition…and the X-Wing pilot needed a new paint job…

Soontir Fel 181th

Ibtisam, Female Mon Calamari Pilot

Ibtisam was a female Mon Calamari X-Wing Pilot who flew for the Rebel Alliance. I’m including a reference photo at the bottom of this post, which shows her blue skin and wearing the typical X-Wing Pilot uniform. This is my interpretation of what her vintage action figure would have looked like.

The Admiral Ackbar Mon Calamari character is a fan favorite, and I try to create customs using this figure whenever I can find a good donor candidate.
