A word about my customs…

I’m both a vintage collector and a customizer. As such, I try to restore any vintage figure I come upon, and only the most played with, loose-jointed, paint-worn and sun-faded figures are considered for customizing. The drawback is that some custom figures can still have small dings or loose joints, but overall I’m trying to add value and save a vintage figure that might otherwise be thrown away.

All of my customs are hand-crafted using authentic vintage star wars action figures as a base. I disassemble, hand-paint, and re-assemble all figures. They are then finished with a protective coat of acrylic matte sealer.

Most of my customs are either movie characters that weren’t represented in the original toy releases, or characters from the extended universe that are relevant but didn’t make it into one of the movies. There are also a few customs that are more “realistic” versions of themselves, where I felt they were short-changed as figures in their original release. And, like most customizers, I throw in a few of my own designs that have no place in the “real” star wars universe.

Where possible, I will include the “recipes” for the figures I post…
